Lauren Myer has been a passionate educator for the past twelve years working with students, teachers, and school districts across the country. She began her career with Teach For America in 2007 as a special education teacher and consistently achieved impressive academic gains with her students. Most recently, she served as an instructional coach of literacy at Truesdell Education Campus in Washington, D.C. where her team saw unprecedented double-digit growth on the 2017 PARCC assessment.

Lauren cares deeply about educating all students and is excited to continue working with students in the Rochester region as well as supporting schools and teachers with high quality literacy instruction. Certified in Wilson Reading® and highly trained in The Writing Revolution® program, Lauren has a depth of knowledge on foundational reading and writing skills as well as strength in designing personalized instruction. Lauren is a New York certified special education teacher (Grades 1-6).

Lauren is an alumnus of Emory & Henry College and received a master’s degree in special education from George Mason University.
